a photovoltaic power generation project at the site of an abandoned mine in suoqian town, xiaoshan district, hangzhou, was recently put into operation.
the installed capacity of the pv power generation project is 1.01 megawatts, with an annual electricity output of nearly 1 million kilowatt-hours. it is expected to reduce carbon dioxide emissions by over 1,000 metric tons annually.
xiaoshan district is currently revitalizing abandoned mines, damaged land, and enterprise rooftops through various means to develop pv power generation projects. clean energy will be used for daily life and production, advancing emissions reduction efforts and driving rural vitalization while increasing incomes for local residents.
